LIKE MANY AREAS OF THE MIDWEST, THE MAHONING VALLEY region of Northeast Ohio--encompassing the Youngstown-Warren metro--has been hit hard by job losses in the manufacturing sector.
Yet, the region still retains a manufacturing history that includes more than 100 years of innovative companies. The Youngstown Business Incubator (YBI) is attempting to use that rich history to attract startup business-to-business (B2B) software developers to the metro.
