HOMEGROWN INFORMATION COMMUNICATION technology (ICT) sector success stories, the likes of which include Research in Motion, Nortel and Sierra Wireless, have a message for the rest of the world: setting up shop in Canada is a boon to business.

About 70 percent of ICT products manufactured in the country are exported with seamless access to the North American market, according to Invest in Canada.
