Brambles joins move from Oz.

BRAMBLES Industries has become the latest Australian company to a seek a dual listing after confirmation of its A$20bn ([pound]7bn) merger with GKN - and it is unlikely to be the last.

The deal, revealed in Sunday Business last week, is the third international merger in six weeks involving an Australian company using a dual-listed structure. The A$58bn merger between BHP and Billiton and SingTel's A$17bn bid for Cable & Wireless Optus both involved dual listings.
