The Seattle Chapter of Forum for Women Entrepreneurs (FWE), a non-profit organization supporting entrepreneurial women in technology and life science businesses, will host a panel discussion, "Transforming Your Business,"

Offering insights into how to undertake a major business transformation, FWE has assembled a panel of three experts: Brian Bershad, chairman and CEO of Appliant; Tim Choate, President and CEO of Aptimus, a partner of Freeshop.com and iVillage; and Gary Gigot of Gigot Brands and formerly Head of Marketing for Visio. The veteran panelists will discuss strategies for responding quickly to shifting market conditions, transitioning to a new business model and recognizing competitive advantages. They will also share personal stories of transitions experienced by their companies.
The moderator is Shirley Dunn, a certified turnaround specialist of Portland-based Glass & Associates Consulting, who has extensive experience advising companies in crisis.
