The conference is designed to bring entrepreneurs and private investors together to share knowledge and strategies, expand professional networks, and pursue closure of early stage investments. It is expected that ten to fifteen high potential startup companies will present their business plans for first round funding to investors. High-powered panels and seminars, as well as a unique keynote presentation will offer practical guidance and information essential to both entrepreneurs and investors.
An advisory board of prominent D.C. area professionals, actively engaged in the entrepreneur/investor arena, will guide the conference. The Washington DC Angel/Entrepreneur conference is the latest in a series of similar programs Capitalyst is presenting with various regional Harvard Business School Clubs. In March, Capitalyst conducted a similar program in Boston and has also been invited to manage and present at the Houston TX Angel/Entrepreneur Conference, that will be jointly presented with the Harvard Business School Club of Houston.
