    WHAT: Nominations are now open for the 6th Annual Deloitte &
        Touche Technology Fast 500 and Fast 50 programs. The Fast 500
        ranks the fastest growing technology companies




				

				
				 
				


 in the United
        States and Canada. The Fast 50 is a regional ranking of the
        fastest growing technology companies in 29 regions in the
        United States, United Kingdom, and the Netherlands.

    HOW: Winners are selected based on the percentage of growth in
        revenues from 1995-1999 (five-year period). To be considered
        for the Fast 500 and Fast 50, entrants must meet the following
        criteria:

        --  Have revenues of at least $50,000 in 1995 and at least
            $1,000,000 in 1999.

        --  Be public or private companies, with headquarters in the
            United States or Canada. Subsidiaries and divisions are
            not eligible, unless they have some public ownership and
            are separately traded.

        --  Develops proprietary technology which contributes to a
            significant portion of the company's operating revenues
            (for example, using other companies' technology in a
            unique way does not qualify), manufactures a
            technology-related product, and/or devotes a high
            percentage of effort to research and development of
            technology.

    Ten "Rising Star" winners will also be chosen. Eligibility is the
same, except that "Rising Star" winners are selected based on the
percentage of growth in revenues for just three years, from 1997-1999.
    Companies can nominate themselves or be nominated by a third
party. Winners will be determined by Deloitte & Touche based on a
detailed review of qualifying nominations.

    WHEN: Nominations are due by May 31, 2000. Fast 500 winners will
        be announced in November 2000. Fast 50 announce dates vary.
