Jeff Dayton, previous Chief Technology Officer of Home Depot, has been named Chief Information Officer (CIO). The expansion of the V-SPAN executive management team will provide the essential leadership required to drive the organization's broadband services initiatives and further position the organization as the premier portal for broadband communications.

"The expansion of V-SPAN's executive management team is a natural progression in the pursuit of V-SPAN's strategic vision. With the extensive experience in technology and business development that Jeff and Rich bring to the organization, we are confident that they will successfully direct V-SPAN in the implementation of our broadband Internet communications strategy," states Ken Hayward, president and founder of V-SPAN.

As V-SPAN's new VP of Corporate Development and CFO, Mr. Ruben will assist the organization in expanding its strategic and financial focus in the rapidly expanding broadband communication marketplace.

"V-SPAN's entrepreneurial spirit, strong growth and vision of broadband communication had impressed me from the start. However, what really enticed me to join the team was the close-knit corporate culture and commitment to exceeding customer expectations," said Rich Ruben, V-SPAN VP Corporate Development/CFO.

Mr. Dayton's responsibility as CIO at V-SPAN is to develop, manage and implement the newest in Internet and broadband communication technologies to strategically position V-SPAN as a premier broadband communications portal.

Mr. Dayton is a 17-year veteran of the software and technology industry and has held key executive positions in some of the top technology companies in America. He joined BellSouth information Systems, a software development and I/T outsourcing firm, where he led software development and technical infrastructure initiatives.
