The west Wichita store is on Emerson Street and the east store is on East Kellogg Drive in One Kellogg Place. Each has a showroom of 35,000 square feet, and the west location also has an attached warehouse.
Slumberland had its beginnings in 1967, with the first store in Minnesota opened as a mattress and La-Z-Boy specialty shop. The family-owned company now has 96 corporate and franchise stores in 10 states and is a seller of La-Z-Boy upholstery, Natuzzi leather and both Sealy and Simmons mattresses.
