Babson College in Wellesley, Mass., U.S.A. presents the Babson Symposium on Global Entrepreneurship: From Promise to Prosperity, a two-day event to explore the power and potential of entrepreneurship, in London,

England on April 26-27, 2002 at the Langham Hilton.

Leading industry executives and academic thinkers will examine such issues as:

- The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor Report (GEM)-- groundbreaking research
and analysis that demonstrates the power of entrepreneurship as one of the most
important roads to rapid and substantial economic development. Presented by the
study's principal researchers.

- Classic Venture Capital: From Ecstasy to Agony in Just 12 Months.

- Entrepreneurship Hatcheries: A look at Babson student businesses launched in
the supportive environment of on-campus hatcheries.

- Corporate Entrepreneurship: Two Perspectives

- Radical Innovation Discover, Development and Commercialization

- Youth Entrepreneurship: Stimulating Business Development in the United
Kingdom.

Keynote speakers include: Robert J. Davis, partner, Highland Capital, an early stage venture capital firm and former president and CEO, Lycos Inc. which merged in 2000 with Terra Networks; and Arthur M. Blank, chairman, president, and CEO, the NFL's Atlanta Falcons football team and cofounder of The Home Depot, the world's largest home improvement retailer.

Symposium presentations will look at a variety of topics and issues around entrepreneurship including:
