I'm going to age myself here (what's new??), but does anyone remember when radio stations conducted "make it or break it" contests for new songs? I remember when the Beatles were just starting out and our radio station conducted a contest on one of their songs. Us kids (teens) would madly dial the radio station number over and over to vote on the song.
