Choosing a Good Content Subscription Site
A content site that charges a monthly fee is only worthwhile if the new content keeps coming in.
Another aspect of a content subscription site should be that it adds new content frequently. If it fails to do that, it's not really worth paying for. Recently I joined a site that offered an exclusive set of expert interviews in MP3 format available only to its subscribers. It was reasonably priced at less than $10 per month.
But what I learned very quickly was that they didn't add content very often. A couple of months went by and there was no new content added. Needless to say, I dropped the subscription. A content site that charges a monthly fee is only worthwhile if they can keep the new content coming in. Otherwise, the subscribers have to pay ongoing fees but not get any continuing value.
So aside from looking at the quality of the content in a subscription site, check to see how often they add new content. If they add it frequently, great! But if the new content lags, consider something else.
