Ramos, 42, is chief executive officer and founder of National City-based Technical Logistics Corp., a woman-owned minority technology services business with major clients in defense, military and government. She credits her firm's phenomenal growth - an 847 percent revenue growth between 2005 and 2007 - in large part to her kill in building up contacts, volunteering for such key industry groups as the local chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association, and giving presentations.
