Struggling Boca Raton, Fla., Firm Daleen Technologies to Go Private.

May 8--Daleen Technologies' rough ride on Wall Street is almost over.

Two New York private-equity firms breathed new life into the sputtering Boca Raton software maker with a $30 million investment Friday -- money it will use to convert to a private company and acquire another firm.

Quadrangle Capital Partners pumped $25 million and Behrman Capital $5 million into Daleen Holdings, a newly formed company that will buy United Kingdom-based Protek Telecommunications
