Small Firms Make Themselves at Home; Homeworking Fast-Growing Trend.

Apr. 25--Homeworking is a fast-growing trend, with almost a quarter of small companies now run from owners' homes.

And many home-based businesses or SoHos -- Small office/Home office -- are young operations, according to research by the Federation of Small Businesses. A third of those surveyed are less than three years old.
