Healthcare Industry Sees Boom in Number of 'Serial Entrepreneurs'.

Dec. 30--His grandfather had a pharmacy in Pimlico. His father had a pharmacy on Jappa Road in Baltimore County and his earliest memories are stacking returned Coke bottles in the basements for his father and his grandfather.

So it didn't take long for Stephen Handelman to choose a career. "Who am I kidding?" he recalled thinking. "It's in my genes."

Since graduating from pharmacy school in 1979, Handelman's career has taken a few turns but his passion for pharmacy
