Capmark arranges $107 million for four multifamily properties.

Capmark Finance Inc., Horsham, Pennsylvania, announced it has arranged more than $107 million in debt and equity for the acquisition of Nutwood West Apartments in Fullerton, California, and the Muni Mae Seattle Portfolio in Washington state by Seattle-based Security Properties Inc.

President Jason Krupoff, of the Capmark Finance Orange County, California, office, originated first-mortgage debt of $33.25 million for the acquisition of Nutwood West Apartments and $48.6 million for the Muni Mae Seattle Portfolio.

In each transaction, the debt was supplemented with an equity investment of approximately $13 million provided by an affiliate of Capmark Investments LP. Both loans were funded by Prudential Mortgage Capital, according to Krupoff.

Situated on 6.5 acres at 2404 East Nutwood Ave., Nutwood West Apartments consists of one three-story, multi-winged building containing 248 garden-style units. Comprised of 163,300 square feet, the property is 98 percent occupied at average rents of $1,043 per month.

The Muni Mae Seattle Portfolio includes three properties located in the greater Seattle region: Gilman Meadows in Issaquah, Washington; Mallard Cove in Everett, Washington; and Mountain View Apartments in Fife, Washington.

All together, the properties total 461,897 square feet and 564 units, and are 95 percent occupied at average rents of $827 per month. Each property features swimming pools and Jacuzzis, clubhouses, entertainment areas and fitness facilities.
