PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Board of Directors of the local ELECTRICITY GENERATING AUTHORITY OF THAILAND (EGAT) recently approved the company's 2006-2007 investment plans. As a result, EGAT is now seeking a loan of $80,000,000 in order to build 2 new power plants. In so doing, the company is planning to build the Songkhla and South Bangkok power stations. However, neither the size of the power stations or cost to complete the project has yet been revealed.
