Ravi Ravindran: CAE's new president-elect.(Members in the News)

Dr. Ravi Ravindran, FASM, professor of advanced materials, Ryerson University, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and a past trustee of ASM International, has been chosen to serve as the 2006-07 president-elect of the Canadian Academy of Engineering (CAE). Ravindran was elected a CAE Fellow in 2002 and a member of its board of directors in 2004. CAE Fellows are nominated and elected by their peers in recognition of distinguished achievements and career-long service to the engineering profession. Currently, CAE has about 275 active and 90 emeritus members.
