Building material retailer 84 Lumber Co. announced it will spend $25.8 million to purchase 15 locations from Payless Cashways, which closed the remainder of its stores and began liquidations in September. The purchase is expected to be completed by Nov. 23 and will bring 84 Lumber's store count to 433.
