ARMOR HOLDINGS TO ACQUIRE TRASCO BREMEN OF GERMANY, LEADING EUROPEAN AUTOMOTIVE ARMORING COMPANY.

July 31, 2002 - Armor Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AH) says that it has signed a Letter of Intent to acquire the assets of Sachsenring Fahrzeugbau GmbH of Bremen, Germany ("Trasco of Bremen") for approximately euro 5.7 million. The transaction is expected to close on or before September 1, 2002.
