McFarland Cascade Acquires Canadian Composite Lumber Business.

June 25, 2004 - McFarland Cascade of Tacoma, Washington in April acquired the composite-lumber business Xtendex of Barrie, Ontario, Canada, said president and CEO Corry McFarland.

The purchase lets McFarland Cascade expand its presence in the market for composite lumber, which more people are using for deck surfaces, he said.
