THE DOOR IS CLOSING ON EARLY RETIREMENT. Baby boomers who are not judges, bishops, farmers and the owners of small businesses may soon join those and other occupations where many people traditionally work into their late sixties, early seventies--and often beyond.
Those who have already left the workforce may wish to return.
Jennifer Lang, a senior financial, services industry actuary with Trowbridge Consulting, has conducted research which reveals that a modest fall, in equity investment returns, say 1%, would result in a cumulative drop of $300 billion in t
