Asia Aluminum to Build New Factories in Mainland China

CHINA, Mar 12, 2003 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Managing Director of Asia Aluminum Holdings Ltd. (0930.HK) Dr. Chan Yiu Tsuan noted that Asia Aluminum will establish a joint-operation company with Sumitomo. Both corporations are currently conducting feasibility study on buying second-hand equipments from the U.S. and reconsolidating factories in mainland China. Planned total investments in the joint-operation company are HK$2 billion. Asia Aluminum plans to invest RMB 400 million
