BMC Software to buy OptiSystems for US$70m, BUSINESS TIMES

BMC Software Inc. and OptiSystems Solutions Ltd have entered into a
definitive merger agreement under which BMC will acquire OptiSystems for
US$70 million (US$1 = RM3.80).

BMC will fork out US$10 in cash for each of OptiSystems' ordinary
shares, making the transaction on a fully-diluted basis worth US$70 million.

Israel-based OptiSystems is a global leader in enterprise application
management software for the SAP and IBM markets.

The transaction is subject to OptiSystems shareholder
