Scitex, producer of interactive imaging systems for the printing and publishing industry, made headlines in February with the announcement by the U.S. firm International Paper of the purchase of 11 percent of its shares for $209 million. In March, Scitex bought Leaf Systems, an American manufacturer of scanners for desktop publishing. In an interview with the financial daily Globes, Scitex President Arie Rosenfeld discussed the recent deal with International Paper.
