SOFTWARE ARCHITECTS ACQUIRES TRAINING, CONSULTING FIRM.

WESTCHESTER, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 6, 1995--Software Architects, Inc., a national leader in the development and implementation of business information systems, announced its acquisition today of CheckPOINT, an Oak Brook, Ill.-based provider of training and consulting services.

Founded

in 1990 by Julie B. Freidinger, CheckPOINT offers clients a wide range of services, including applications development, courseware and documentation development, end-user support and assistance, project design and management and technical contract services. The firm is also an Authorized Technical Education Center for Microsoft. Ms. Freidinger says she believes her company will be a valuable addition to Software Architects.

"CheckPOINT will become a division of Software Architects dedicated to meeting a host of customer training requirements," she says. "The combining of each company's services will provide a fuller solution for the client."

Ms. Freidinger will serve as director of the CheckPOINT division which has two classrooms, one in Chicago and one in Oak Brook, dedicated to Microsoft ATEC training. Client-site training is a specialty.

Software Architects specializes in large scale application development projects. Offices are located in Columbus, Ohio; Minneapolis, Minn.; Dallas, Texas; Tampa, Fla. and Chicago, Ill.
