MONTREAL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 8, 1998--COGNICASE (NASDAQ:COGIF) (TSE:COG.) COGNICASE Inc. (NASDAQ: COGIF) announced today that its acquisition of Nat Systems International, Inc. has been approved by Nat Systems' shareholders.
The transaction received final approval at a special meeting
Founded in 1987, Nat Systems employs over 220 IT professionals serving more than 750 clients through offices in France and seven other European countries. Nat Systems has a base of 3,000 licensees and more than 10,000 developers around the world using its products. The company provides advanced application development software solutions and services for Web-based and client/server environments. Revenues for the year ended December 31, 1997 were US$29.9 million.
COGNICASE has 1,500 employees and a revenue run rate of US$110 million. Founded in 1991, the Company is an international provider of value-added software solutions and information technology (IT) consulting services.
