Monsoon Signs Letter of Intent to Acquire MajorityInterest in MCIC; Internet Development...

PARLIER, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 13, 1998--Monsoon International (OTC/BB:MIMF) Thursday announced that the company has signed a Letter of Intent with California-based MCIC, a leading provider of Web site development and Internet solutions to acquire majority ownership in the company.

MCIC's clients include, but are not limited to: Microsoft's Middle Eastern Product Development Division, SUNMAID Raisins, Make A Wish Foundation, Zacky Farms, DeBas Chocolatier, CBS Radio, VALLEYPLAZA.COM, California Pistachio Commission and Community Health Systems of California.

In making the announcement, Michael James, chief executive officer of Monsoon, commented: "MCIC clearly understands that marketing is the lifeblood of business. Monsoon has suspended all negotiations with Zen Logic.
