BiTMICRO NETWORKS Inc., developer of high performance solid-state disk, flash disk, and network storage solutions, Tuesday announced the appointment of David R. Hallmen, former VP for Business

"The appointment of David further strengthens our Board of Directors as we attempt to secure our place in the market and forge potential partnerships and alliances with other companies," said Rey Bruce, founder and chairman of the Board of Directors of BiTMICRO NETWORKS.

Hallmen was responsible at VERITAS Software as VP for Business Development for merger and acquisition activities, technology licensing, business divestitures as well as in the implementation of strategic investment initiatives. Prior to joining VERITAS Software, Hallmen was VP of Business Development for Seagate Software and Arcada Software from 1995-1996.

Hallmen also currently serves on the Board of Directors for Knosys Inc., a business intelligence software developer for Microsoft SQL Server and OLAP Services applications, and Satellite Marketing, an outsource marketing organization for early-stage technology companies.
