Precyse Solutions, an industry leader in outsourced health information management (HIM) services, announced today that it has acquired Logical Medical Services (LMS), an Akron-based medical transcription services company.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

LMS has been a regional provider of medical transcription services, serving hospitals in the Akron and Cleveland, Ohio markets. Precyse Solutions will migrate the LMS client base and more than 30 transcriptionists onto their PrecyseNet(TM) Web-based transcription platform over the next two months.
