The award will be presented to Lines at the Hispanic Chamber's 20th anniversary gala on Friday, May 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the Chase Park Plaza in St. Louis. Hector Baretta, head of the United States Small Business Administration, will be the featured speaker.
According to Gilberto Pinela, executive director of the Hispanic Chamber, "U.S. Bank received our award through its continuous participation and support of the chamber's activities and the promotion of Hispanics to positions of responsibility within its organization. It also does a great job of providing banking services to the St. Louis Hispanic community."
Catherine Myers, U.S. Bank senior vice president, said that Bruce Lines has hired employees who speak Spanish and actively work with the Chamber and in the Hispanic neighborhoods.
