Athena Health Club and Day Spa to Be

Largest Health Club Facility in Middle Tennessee

Investors today broke ground in Brentwood, Tennessee for the first of several health clubs with services

exclusively for women and day spas to be built throughout the South and Midwest. Athena Health Club and Day Spa is set to be the largest health club in middle Tennessee and will include a European-style day spa that will be open to men and women. The facility is a first for the investment group Midwest Holdings and Investments.

"Brentwood represents one of the most ideal markets for a project of this caliber, and hence this will be the largest investment for this type of facility anywhere in middle Tennessee," said Michael A. Carter, Sr., chairman of Midwest Holdings and Investments. "Our goal will be to create an environment that enables our clients to achieve a total well-being and sense of relaxation while maintaining fitness, cardiovascular strength, and overall vitality."

The 15,000-square-foot, $5 million facility located at 620 Church Street East will feature a European interior with waterfalls, state-of-the-art workout equipment, pools, private changing rooms and facilities. Programs for the health club will include private one-on-one fitness training, aerobics, health and dietary counseling, and individually-tailored fitness programs. Monthly memberships to the health club will be on a limited basis so that the club is never oversold and maintains its personal appeal.

Services for the Athena Day Spa will include Botox, Chemical Peel, Dead Sea Mud and Salt Treatments, Deep Tissue Massage, European Facials, Le Stone Massage, Manicures, Pedicure, Sauna, Shiatsu, Sports and Swedish Massage, and many additional services. Personnel will be trained and well-experienced in their work and customer service. These services will be available to both men and women and offered on a reservation basis.

Athena Health Club is set to open in the fourth quarter of 2003 and will be selling a limited number of interests in memberships during the building of the project. For additional information or to schedule a virtual tour of the facility, contact Michael A. Carter, Sr. at (615) 300-1309 or via e-mail at mcarter@athenahealthclub.com.
