Wolfgang Wirthgen and Gary Templin, CEOs of WinDor (www.windor-online.com), a leading manufacturer and installer of vinyl windows and doors, was recently honored by the Southland Economic Development Corporation as Small Business Persons of the Year for 2003. The company, which has offices throughout Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside counties, received recognition based on commitment to quality and to the company's 195 employees.
With the announcement of the coveted award, on top of a 45-percent growth increase this year, WinDor's executive management has decided to purchase an additional 18,000 square foot building located directly adjacent to their existing 57,000 square foot manufacturing plant and showroom. This expansion will improve order efficiencies while also allowing WinDor to expand the company's ten-strong line-up of replacement products.
