BREA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 2, 2003

Angela Holman, president of Ibises International Inc. (OTCO:IBSN), announced today that the company has acquired certain assets from Aircraft Systems Engineering and Certification Inc., dba Global Aviation. She said, "The assets acquired are all of the rights to the Sky Media Center (SMC-3000) in-flight entertainment center which had been developed by Global Aviation."

Holman said, "Ibises has established a strong management team which is recognized and respected in the airline industry for the development and implementation of leading-edge products to the airline industry. Ibises will target both domestic and international airline market."

The SMC-3000 in-flight system is a new state-of-the-art airborne media, communication network and security system. This satellite-driven system allows the passenger to access real-time global information and entertainment. In addition, the system is capable of providing on-board security, surveillance and aircraft environmental monitoring systems.

Ibises will do no manufacturing nor will it maintain a significant amount of inventory of parts or components. Ibises' production process will entail assembly and quality control. Hi-tech manufacturing will be achieved through strategic partnerships and alliances with key suppliers.

Ibises will utilize in-house engineering and certification expertise to quickly design and certify new products. Ibises will then leverage its existing second-tier customer base to introduce its new products. Recognition by and sale to tier-one airlines will follow.

Ibises is a company focused on developing and providing airlines worldwide an integrated on-board system which includes totally interactive video surveillance, aircraft monitoring systems and state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment systems. It is dedicated to reducing overall operating cost for such systems while providing features which will allow the airlines to increase revenue from sales of services to be provided by such systems.
