TriStar Plastics Corp. Acquires CJ Composite Bearings Manufacturing Division from Saint-Gobain.

SHREWSBURY, Mass. -- TriStar Plastics Corp. (tstar.com), a twenty four-year-old, privately held manufacturer and distributor of custom engineered plastic components headquartered in Shrewsbury, Mass., has announced the acquisition of Wayne NJ.-based CJ Composite Bearings Division from Saint-Gobain

Performance Plastics Corporation. According to Richard Cedrone, TriStar CEO, the acquisition will form the foundation of a new TriStar division; strengthen the company's offering in the marketplace and better position TriStar for strategic growth and future expansion.

The new TriStar manufacturing division will offer a standard line of CJ Composite bearings and engineered custom components to meet customers' demanding applications.
