Combining Business and Pleasure: Flying Photography
As my regular readers know, I use a small plane in the course of my business of selling businesses. I usually carry a camera along in the cockpit, and here are the best of my flying photos from the past few years.
As my regular readers know, I use a small plane in the course of my business of selling businesses. I usually carry a camera (currently a compact Canon G10) along in the cockpit and included below are the best of my flying photos from the past few years. In looking over these photos, I realized that all but one were taken on a business trip. This is mainly because I use my airplane about 80% of the time for business, but also because I tend not to do the banking and maneuvering required to take photos when friends and family are with me.
By the way, the first photo (with the glacier in the background) is Mt. Shasta. The sunrise with the plane highlighted is Sedona Arizona, while the photo of the mountain with a hut on top is Mt. Whitney. The "coffee cup" photo is near Bishop California while the strip of red cliffs photo was taken near Bryce Canyon, Utah.
