Get your Local Home Business Listed in Bing

Bing is the new kid on the Search Engine block and by now you've probably heard of it. Depending on who you talk to, Bing could be the next generation of the search engine and could actually make a dent in Google's dominance of the search engine market.

If your home based business benefits from local exposure, Bing offers a local listing service that is free to use. Credit to Small Biz Trends for this tip in their article called How to Grab Your Local Listing in Bing. Everything you need to know is in there including a link to the Bing local sign up page.

But if you use Google Chrome as your browser, the Microsoft Bing sign up page will not render. Hmmmm. Coincidence or by design? Anyway, if you want local exposure for your home based business, give Bing Local a try.

Great point about Google Chrome! Think you are dead right on that one. In fact, this is an excellent piece of advertising for Bing. If they were welcomed by Google we'd all be surprised.

It is hard to believe that, with the morass that is Web 2.0, getting your name listed in any engine means too much anymore...
