Hershey Foods CEO Pushes Joint Venture.

Apr. 23--Last April, Hershey Foods Corp. workers were on strike and the company was secretly on the auction block.

At the annual shareholder's meeting Tuesday, with the strike long over, investors and executives weren't greeted with protest signs and an inflatable rat, as they were at last year's gathering. And the potential sale of Hershey, made public last July, was called off seven months ago by the company's majority shareholder, the Hershey Trust Co.
