Apr. 9--U.S. Steel Corp. has sold land in 15 states, including thousands of acres in Northeastern Minnesota, to a Houston-based real estate developer.
RGGS Land & Minerals Ltd. L.P., a newly formed and privately owned company with an office in Mountain Iron, bought more than 35,000 acres of surface rights and 760,500 acres of mineral rights formerly held by U.S. Steel in Northeastern Minnesota.
The massive land deal does not include the 37,000-acre Minntac Mine
