St. Louis University Unveils Site for New $70 Million Arena.

Dec. 19--St. Louis University announced with great fanfare Thursday the site for a 13,000-seat arena on the east end of its campus although construction is still at least three months away.

SLU must first decide how to deal with an underground creek that is running through the construction site.

The site for the $70 million arena is on the southwest corner of Laclede and Compton avenues and just north of Market Street and Highway 40 (Interstate 64). Harris-Stowe State
