PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The local EMPRESA COLOMBIANA DE PETROLEOS (ECOPETROL) currently operates a refinery with an installed production capacity of 75,000 barrels per day (b/d). And, ECOPETROL recently awarded a technical consultancy contract to a French joint venture regarding a plant expansion project. The partners in the planned undertaking include TECHNIP-COFLEXIP and EURONEXT, a stock exchange.
