The Japan Arab Dialogue Forum.(International Dateline)

The first meeting of The Japan Arab Dialogue Forum was held at Hotel New Otani, Tokyo, on September 4 and 5. The meeting was sponsored by the Japan Foundation and organized in cooperation with the Japan Institute of International Affairs.

The Japan Arab Dialogue Forum was established to deepen the dialogue between Japan and Arab countries and search for modalities of cooperation between the countries. The meeting is not official, and no formal minutes are produced, but the opinions voiced are nonetheless reported to the top levels of government. Delegations from Japan,
