ATLANTA -- The Plantation Shop, a business which began as a retail store in Atlanta's Buckhead shopping district fifteen years ago, has changed its name to "Tennille & Co". In honor of the new name, Tennille & Co's owner, Cassandra Tennille, hosted a magnificent party
Speakers for the evening were Cassandra Tennille, founder and CEO of Tennille & Co., and Lisa Newsom, Editor in Chief of Veranda Magazine. The party was attended by over 400 guests who dined on delectable Southern fare from the master Chef's of Tennille & Co neighbor, "Endive". Another neighbor, Robert Long, provided the fabulous floral centerpieces.
The evening was lively and the dance floor was filled to capacity as guests enjoyed the Motown and Jazz music of "Tapestry", whose artists have toured with groups such as "The Commodores" and "The Temptations". In attendance were Sims Bray, Publisher of Veranda Magazine with Hearst Publishing New York, Lola Battle, Leslie Rascoe, Cheryl Womack, Sally and Jimmy Phillips, Elaine and Mike McMillen, Pam Young, Judy Long, Jan Hough, Judy Bartells, Lou Winship, Susan Gordy, Hollis and Mark Erickson, Jena and Steve Young, Lynn and Trey Pounders, Katie Bush, Colby Buell and many more friends of Tennille & Co.
