Audi sales goal won't lead to new factory.(News)(Brief article)

Audi has no plans to add a new factory in the near future to reach its target of selling 1 million cars by the end of 2008.

"We could build a million vehicles within our existing capacity," said Jochem Heizmann, Audi's board member in charge of production, in an interview.

Audi Chairman Martin Winterkorn said the carmaker wants to sell 1 million units by 2008 and 1.4 million vehicles by 2015.

To achieve those targets, Heizmann said Audi will use its foreign manufacturing capacity, such as the FAW-Volkswa
