Tasty baking company to build new $75 million bakery and HQ.(Industry News)

Tasty Baking Company will relocate its Philadelphia operations to leased facilities at The Navy Yard, a commercial and industrial development center in Philadelphia. The site will include a newly constructed "Tastykake" bakery and a "green" corporate headquarters.

The company currently produces the majority of its products from 15 production lines in a six-story factory built in 1922. The capital investment for the new baking equipment and related expenditures are expected to add up to $75 million.
