Wataniya International declared that a syndicate of regional investors led by Wataniya International has signed an agreement with US-based Sprint Nextel to create Sprint Nextel Middle East, a firm that would provide wireless communications services across the Middle East and North Africa region.

Wataniya International is a global investment/management arm of Wataniya Teleco
