MOTOROLA Malaysia Sdn Bhd may ask some 10 per cent of its total workforce
at the manufacturing plant in Sungei Way, Selangor, to take three months
leave due to slumping factory orders, sources familiar with the plan said
yesterday.
"They (workers) will be offered leave for up to three months and
during this period they will be paid only 75 per cent of their current
salary.
"At this point of time, it is uncertain what will happen after the
