Mr. Tobias is a financial expert, an award-winning, best-selling author and a prominent community leader. He currently serves as Treasurer of the Democratic National Committee, the first openly gay officer of either major political party.

His pioneering software, Managing Your Money, helped hundreds of thousands of people take control of their finances. Tobias has received the Gerald Loeb Award for Distinguished Business and Financial Journalism, Harvard Magazine's Smith-Weld Prize, and the Consumer Federation of America Media Service Award.
