a division of HCPro, has been appointed to the Association of Health Care Journalists' Board of Directors.

Elected to serve as interim secretary, Novack will serve a two-year term on the 12-member board.

The Association of Health Care Journalists is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to advancing public understanding of health care issues. Its mission is to improve the quality, accuracy and visibility of health care reporting, writing and editing.

Novack has a master's degree in journalism from Boston University.
