The board of directors of Lasik Vision Corporation ("Lasik Vision") is pleased to announce the appointment

Mr. Nurudin Ahmed, O.D. is the owner and operator of Coquitlam Optometry Centre and Urban Eyes since 1988 and has been a consulting optometrist to Lasik Vision since 1997.

Mr. Philip Louie, C.A. is a Chartered Accountant and the former Controller of R.T.P. Services Ltd., a subsidiary of Rentokil Initial PLC and has served as Vice-President, Financial Director of Lasik Vision.

Mr. John Porter is Executive Chairman of Redbus Interhouse. Redbus Interhouse is quoted on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the Techmark 100. Mr. Porter is also the Chairman of Telos Group and Co-founder and Director of Grandvision SA, the largest superoptical retailer in Europe quoted on the Paris Bourse. Mr. Porter is a Barclay Fellow of Templeton College, Oxford and has served on the Advisory Council, Graduate School of Business, Stanford. He is a graduate of Oxford University, Institut d'Etudes Politiques, Paris and Stanford University.

The board has accepted the resignations of Mr. Douglas L. Mason (Chairman), Mr. Stuart R. Ross and Mr. John Withers.
